I’ve been thinking about starting this for a while now. Not because I have all the answers, or because I think my thoughts are groundbreaking—but because I’ve realized that some ideas deserve to exist outside my head. They deserve to be shared, questioned, built upon, or simply acknowledged.
So, what is Mindoff?
It’s my mind turned off from filters, expectations, and rigid structures. It’s a space where I write about whatever crosses my mind, whenever it feels right. Some posts might dive into landscape architecture and design principles. Others might explore programming concepts I’m learning. You might find book reflections, sketches, or random observations about life in Saudi Arabia.
What to Expect
→ Insights from 15+ years in landscape architecture → Programming experiments and learning journeys → Creative works—drawings, ideas, concepts → Honest thoughts on books, work, and life → No schedule. No rules. Just authenticity.
I won’t pretend to post daily or follow a content calendar. This isn’t about algorithms or engagement metrics. It’s about expression. When something is worth saying, I’ll say it. When silence feels right, I’ll embrace it.
By day, I’m a Technical Manager at ALBAWANI, working on lab college designs where every measurement matters and every decision has weight. But here, in this space, I can let my mind wander freely. I can connect dots between landscape design and code. I can share a sketch without explaining it. I can write a thought and let it stand on its own.
“The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is now.”
So here I am. Starting now.
If you’re reading this, thank you. Whether you’re a fellow landscape architect, a coding enthusiast, someone curious about design, or just stumbled here by chance welcome. I hope you find something here that resonates, challenges, or simply makes you think.
Let’s see where this goes.
